Anitra Payne LCSW-C, LICSW, LCSW

Hello, I am the owner of Trinity Wellness Group. I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. As a mental health professional, and former Washington, DC Public School social worker, I have over 15 years of experience working in social services. My professional career has afforded me the education and competency to work with various demographics! I have clinical experience supporting individuals suffering in different areas of life regarding depression, anxiety, family conflict, and intimate relationships; to name a few.
I also love, Love! I have great passion to help relationships of various forms heal!
My experience and knowledge is what now drives the Trinity Wellness Group, LLC and its work in the community and mental health field.

I am a proud alumnus of Howard University, where I received my BBA.
Growing up, sports have always been an integral part of my life. It instilled in me the importance of teamwork and the value of having a coach that can uplift you when you are having a low moment.
At times, I would have to coach my teammates so that we could get closer to achieving our goal of winning. It was in those moments that I discovered that I enjoyed coaching.
Later in life, I found myself readily pouring into others, offering words of support, encouragement, providing guidance, and helping people find direction as they navigate challenging situations in their life.

In 2019, my life was completely turned upside down. My world was imploding. Things seemed to continue to go from bad to worse in every aspect of my life.
Through my faith, and with the support of my close friends, and family, I rebounded.
Going through that situation created a drive to be a safe space for others that may need a source of support during a time of confusion in their life. In 2021, I decided to make an investment to become a Master Certified Coach.
